USF Holland Inc., an operating company of USF Corp., was recently named a Choice Carrier Partner by the ITW Construction Products Group Logistics Council of Illinois Tool Works Inc.

The partner designation was made based on USF Holland's scores for 2002 performance in five key areas: on-time service, billing accuracy, claims-free shipments, on-time reports and overall carrier responsiveness.
The Logistics Council at ITW evaluates the scores for carriers and determines which have met their high standards. Carriers must deliver excellence in both safety and service to all nine companies in the Construction Products Group. "Our scoring system allows us to keep a close eye on shippers' performance. It helps both us and them to track, on a monthly basis, whether our needs are being met," said Leona Meyer, logistics specialist for Miller Electric Manufacturing Co. and a member of the ITW Logistics Council.
