The Bekins Co., among the nation's largest transportation and distribution services companies, said Monday it has formed a partnership with international transportation services company Gateways International.
The launch of Bekins International Group, a new business division, will extend the company's offerings to the critical international marketplace.
The partnership and formation of Bekins International Group will enable Bekins' affiliate agents to add international corporate and individual relocation, tradeshow exhibit, high-tech goods, warehousing and general commodities services to its line of domestic transportation logistics offerings.
In offering these services, Bekins will utilize Gateways International's more than 21 years of international transportation expertise. Gateways International will also supply Bekins with operational and sales support for the international marketplace.
