Ohio-based Keller Trucking, an affiliate of Keller Logistics Group, has merged with Everhart Trucking LLC, bringing the total fleet to 200 tractors and 550 trailers.
Established in 1978, Keller Trucking is an asset-based carrier headquartered in Defiance, Ohio, serving customers across the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Southern United States.
Everhart Trucking was founded in 2000, when Kent Everhart purchased the company he drove for as one of the original eight owner-operators. The Everhart fleet consists of 32 company trucks and eight owner-operators hauling primarily automotive freight.
The merger opens Keller Trucking up to new geography for drivers, including Lima and Findlay, Ohio, as the company plans continued growth.
Keller Trucking is retaining all Everhart employees in the merger.
“Our two companies have a lot of similar philosophies and attributes,” said Keller Logistics Group President and CEO Bryan Keller, citing their family cultures, great customer service, and focus on safety. “We will take the best business processes from each company to make an even stronger company, providing customer diversity for all of us to have a more sustainable business for generations to come.”
Keller also offers customers capacity via partner carriers through its affiliate Keller Freight Solutions. It also has a heavy haul freight program, as well as spotting and shuttle services.
