Truck dealer group Fyda Freightliner has opened a new 46,000-square-foot, full-service Freightliner and Western Star dealership in Zanesville, Ohio.

Construction on the dealership began earlier this year and the new facility will allow Fyda to expand its offerings to a wider area and move closer to some current customers.

“It is our goal to always keep our customers first, and the opening of our newest full service dealership represents another step in that direction,” said Gary Tiffan, general manager. "Our Zanesville location was built to better serve our current customers within their home bases, while allowing us to expand our services to drivers who travel in the area between our Columbus and Pittsburgh dealerships."

The new dealership carries an inventory of new Freightliner and Western Star and all-makes pre-owned heavy- and medium-duty commercial trucks. The parts department offers free parts delivery and carries around $1 million in Freightliner and Western Star original equipment parts, all-makes truck parts and components, and select trailer parts.

The facility also has a 24-bay service department that is a certified warranty center for Freightliner, Western Star, Detroit, Mercedes, Cummins, Eaton, and Meritor, and features a chassis engine Dyno and a Hunter computerized alignment rack. Full maintenance and repair services are available for all brands of commercial and large recreational vehicles including DPF and DOC cleaning and maintenance, flywheel machining, glass repair, and radiator repair service. All Fyda Freightliner technicians are factory trained and certified on the latest diagnostic equipment.

Fyda Freightliner operates dealerships in Columbus, Zanesville, Cincinnati and Youngstown, Ohio, and Pittsburgh and Barkeyville, Penn. Fyda has plans to open a new dealership in Walton, Ky., in 2017.
