The Pete Store Makes Big Push Into New England

The Pete Store has purchased Peterbilt franchise rights for a significant portion of the state of Massachusetts, the dealer group announced.
The acquisition will make The Pete Store the exclusive full-service Peterbilt dealer in many parts of the state, including in Berkshire, Essex, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, Middlesex, Norfolk, Suffolk and Worcester counties.
The Pete Store has selected a 15.5-acre site in Norfolk County for the first location in the area. Work has started on the site, located in Plainville, Mass. The initial phase of upgrades is expected to be completed by May.
“With the addition of this territory, we now offer support spanning one thousand miles from Massachusetts to Georgia,” said John Arscott, president and CEO of The Pete Store. “We hope fleets in New England find value in both our experience as a dedicated Peterbilt dealer, and our growing network of locations.”
The Pete Store sells Peterbilt heavy and medium-duty trucks through locations from Massachusetts to Georgia.
