FlowBelow Aero wheel covers will come standard on Navistar’s 2022 International LT and RH Series trucks.

FlowBelow Aero wheel covers will come standard on Navistar’s 2022 International LT and RH Series trucks.
FlowBelow Aero wheel covers are standard on Navistar’s 2022 International LT and RH Series trucks that were ordered after June 15, 2021.
In 2020, International announced that the FlowBelow wheel covers and Tractor AeroKit were included in the International MPG Package for the LT Series, which also includes chassis skirts, roof fairing, cab extenders, and an optional bumper valance. With FlowBelow’s wheel covers now becoming a standard, the drive wheel fairings will continue to be offered as part of the MPG package or as a stand-alone option, to provide additional fuel economy improvements.
“Customer demand for wheel covers drove our decision to add them to our standard spec moving forward.” said Chet Ciesielski, vice president of on-highway heavy-duty truck business at Navistar. “Combine that with Navistar’s desire to offer the most fuel-efficient truck on the market and our positive experience working with the FlowBelow engineering team, and the decision to standardize wheel covers was easy.”
Gordon Virginski, executive vice president of OEM and dealer programs at FlowBelow Aero has been working with Navistar on expanding their offerings of FlowBelow products.
“Testing at Navistar has proven the durability and fuel savings potential of wheel covers as well as FlowBelow’s drive wheel fairings,” he said. “The inclusion of wheel covers in the standard spec for the 2022 model International LT is just one of many positive steps I believe Navistar will be taking in the years to come, to address fuel economy and to meet their sustainability initiatives.”
Navistar is offering FlowBelow wheel covers standard in black, with gray as a no-charge alternative. They will be available for both 4x2 and 6x4 applications.
