Got Questions? Diesel Fuel Edition

Q. What’s the best way to blend additives into diesel fuel?

A. It’s best to use an additized diesel that is formulated at fuel terminals using certified additive injection equipment. This ensures the product is properly blended to meet performance expectations in your engines and reduces the burden on you as the end user. Blending additives by hand can be a difficult task and introduces several risks that can actually harm equipment such as adding too much, not mixing completely and accidentally introducing contaminants into fuel tanks.
