Diesel Prices on the Slow Rise

National average diesel fuel prices hit $2.43 per gallon as of June 22. This represents a 3-cent rise from the previous week, but overall, prices are still down around 62 cents per gallon compared to same time last year. 

Diesel Prices Continue to Drop

U.S. average diesel fuel prices were $2.73 as of March 16, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. This is a drop of 8 cents from the previous week and 34 cents from the same time last year. 

Diesel Prices Start to Dip

Overall national average diesel fuel prices for the U.S. are $3.05 per gallon, dropping about $0.02 from last week and $0.34 compared to 2018.

Diesel Prices Dip Slightly

Average on-highway diesel prices in the U.S. were $3.03 per gallon, down slighly from last week and down $0.19 from same time last year. This marks the fourth straight week that diesel price averages have fallen. 

Diesel Prices Climb a Little Higher

Average national diesel prices, as of May 6, hit $3.17 cents per gallon. Prices are currently equal to one year ago, but about 2-cents higher than last week.

Diesel Prices on the Rise

Back on the rise again, the national average diesel fuel price hit $3.04 in April, 9 cents per gallon higher than March and 49 cents higher than same time last year.

Diesel Fuel Prices Up Versus 2017

The national price of diesel fuel dropped by $0.003 the week of January 22 compared to the previous week but has increased by $0.456 compared to one year ago, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).
