Commercial Vehicle Group’s Bostrom Seating brand has released the Light Truck Suspension Seat, designed as a replacement seat for low cab-forward Class 3 through 5 trucks.

The LTSS features adjustable lumbar support, adjustable driver’s weight settings, ergonomically designed cushions and stain and water resistant fabric trim. The suspension and cushion combination is designed to reduce vibration transmission to the driver to increase comfort.

The LTSS is available to fit several models of medium-duty trucks including the Isuzu N-Series, and GMC/Chevrolet W-Series trucks. Future development of the seat will include expanding the amount of compatible vehicles and additional options, according to CVG.

“The LTSS is key to increasing our participation in cab-over-engine trucks, a growing sub segment of the medium-duty truck market,” said Pat Miller, CVG division president. “With the unique design and value proposition of this suspension seat, we will be able to dramatically improve the ride quality for cab-over-engine truck drivers who have limited options today."
