Apollo Tyres announced its official entry into the U.S. fleet market with a new offering of line-haul tires.
With over 50 years of tire expertise, Apollo Tyres started researching the needs of the North American commercial vehicle segment in 2016, introducing its first commercial vehicle offerings to the continent in 2021. Benchmarked against leading Tier 1 competitors and with millions of miles of testing on North American roads, Apollo will complete its North American tire range with the introduction of its latest line-haul steer, drive and trailer tires.

The truck and bus radial tires for line-haul trucks include:
Steer tire: EnduMile LH front
Drive tire: EnduMile LHD
Trailer tire: EnduMile LHT
The new range will allow Apollo to cover 85% of the commercial truck tire market, with over 40 SKUs, delivering high mileage and low cost per mile.

“These products are the culmination of years of extensive market research and development focused on the US market," said Apollo Chief Technology Officer Daniele Lorenzetti. "These tires have undergone extensive and rigorous field testing in the US.”
The line-haul drive and trailer tires will be available for preorder in the summer of 2023 and will be followed by the line-haul steer tires.
Bridgestone Americas' Firestone FD694 drive tire for long and regional haul applications features a deep on-highway tread pattern designed to promote traction.
Gear Head Lube launched soy-based fifth wheel lubricant pads that provide a consistent fixed amount of grease, and can be applied by hand cleanly and quickly.
Continental Tires has introduced the Conti HSR5 and Conti HDR 5 tires for regional applications, as well as the Conti Scandinavia HD3 for extreme winter conditions.
