MacroPoint announced an integration with Revenova’s multi-modal transportation management system for shippers, brokers and third-party logistics companies.

Companies that enable MacroPoint with Revenova TMS will have the ability to capture tracking data, update maps and access load histories from a single portal. This will allow brokers, 3PLs and shippers to have real-time location tracking, on-time delivery monitoring and arrival and departure notifications.

"Our customers wanted the detailed load tracking information provided by MacroPoint available within our TMS so it could be used to enhance workflow rules, alerts and reports,” said Michael Horvath, EVP & CMO of Revenova. “This integration gives our joint customers the ability to deliver higher service levels and to make more informed decisions.”

MacoPoint’s freight tracking software is designed to give third-party visibility into load status by tracking the location of a driver’s mobile phone, including flip phones. It can also uses with existing in-cab ELD/GPS devices.
