Bridgestone Commercial introduced the Bandag B760 FuelTech drive tire retread, designed for tandem-axle tractors in truckload and less-than-truckload applications.
The B760 FuelTech is SmartWay verified and California Air Resources Board compliant and is designed to balance tread life, traction and fuel efficiency.
The tire features an groove width that combats the retention of harmful objects like stones and has improved drilling resistance to increase casing life. The tread design is highly siped to provide strong traction on wet and dry surfaces.
The B760 has tie bars to control the movement of tread blocks to even out wear and the tire also has multiple gripping edges to promote traction.
The B760 FuelTech is available in four tread sizes in the U.S. and Canada. These sizes range from 210- to 240-millimeters and are made to accommodate nearly any standard-width casing size used for TL and LTL applications.
