Bridgestone's new Bandag B799 tread is designed for retread tires being used in mild mixed service. It is designed to complement the Bridgestone M799 tire.

The Bandag B799 features deep tread depth that Bridgestone says will offer solid traction and promote long wear life for mild on-/off-highway use, regional haul and pick-up and delivery applications.

The B799 has 28/32 depth for long tread wear, an open shoulder design for improved traction and stone rejector technology to help prevent trapped stones from damaging the casing which Bridgestone says will preserve retreadability.

The B799 is available in four tread sizes from 210 mm through 240 mm.
