Integrated Decision Support Corp. announced that Youngblood Truck Lines and Empire Express have decided to expand their use of IDSC software.

North Carolina-based Youngblood Truck Lines will add IDSC’s Expert Fuel to its pricing and profitability systems from IDSC, Netwise and Netwise400.
Tennessee-based Empire Express Inc. has also agreed to license Expert Fuel, along with OOR/ETA Alert. Empire Express has been using Integrated’s Netwise and Netwise400.
Expert Fuel minimizes fuel cost by providing an optimal fuel plan at the time of dispatch. Expert Fuel will route the driver using the company’s preferred route, then optimize the fuel purchase locations and quantities, all within seconds. The route and fuel solution is sent to the driver over a mobile communications system using a carrier’s own defined macros. Expert Fuel is integrated directly into Innovative Computing Corporation (ICC) dispatch software for automated optimization at the time of dispatch.
OOR/ETA Alert (Out-of-route/Estimated Time of Arrival) is a real-time management tool integrated into the Expert Fuel optimization to minimize out-of-route miles and service failures. It automatically notifies the fleet manager or dispatcher of out-of-route and/or projected late power units based on the planned routing.
