XTRA Lease, St. Louis, Mo., yesterday announced it has purchased the trailer rental business formerly owned by CitiCapital's Transportation Financial Service Group

from GE Commercial Finance.
In its announcement, XTRA Lease said it will equip the newly acquired over-the-road trailers with Terion’s FleetView trailer tracking devices, expanding its free trailer tracking on rental vans.
"This acquisition strengthens our ability to respond
to customers' requirements for trailers during a period of tight
capacity and contributes to our plans to grow several product lines," said Bill Franz,
President & CEO. "We encourage our customers to use trailer tracking as a tool for managing their trailer rental assets and improving their visibility of
freight movements."
XTRA Lease, a Berkshire Hathaway company, offers a fleet of trailers that includes dry vans, flat beds, reefers and specialty equipment.
