Xata Turnpike, a division of Xata Corp., has added Glentel, a leading wireless provider in Canada, to its list of value-added resellers.


The announcement came during the TMW TransForum Conference in Dallas.

For more than 40 years, Glentel has engineered, designed and commissioned wireless network solutions that are critical to a variety of industries, including transportation, which makes the company an ideal reseller for Xata and the private and for-hire fleets it serves, according to the company.

Glentel is the largest reseller of Rogers Wireless Services and Motorola products and services in Canada.

Xata Turnpike's RouteTracker device collects and transmits vehicle and driver data to a handheld device and sends it back to a hosted web portal. It's available at no upfront costs and offers a solution for smaller fleets looking to optimize operations and automate regulatory compliance using consumer-grade or ruggedized handheld solutions.
