Wireless Truck Scale Launched by TruckWeight.com
TruckWeight.com has launched a new wireless truck scale that provides truckers with an affordable and reliable way to ensure their cargo is safe and legal every time they’re on the road

Priced at $799, the scale can be self-installed in minutes, enabling drivers to know the exact weight of their vehicle and weight per axle anytime, anywhere, with the simple press of a button.
TruckWeight works with any vehicle or trailer with an air suspension system. To activate TruckWeight, the user simply tees a tiny sensor directly into the air suspension of each axle group on their truck’s configuration – no parts, wires, or mechanical know-how required. Once calibrated, TruckWeight sends up-to-the-minute weight information the handheld display, providing truckers with accurate measurements within 150 pounds each and every time in their choice of kilos or pounds.
TruckWeight is also small, lightweight, durable, and virtually worry-free. About the size of a can of soda, it’s waterproof, weatherproof, shock resistant, non-corrosive, and can withstand temperature extremes ranging from -40C to +70C (-40F to +158F). And because the TruckWeight system is completely wireless, users can measure their gross weight from either inside the cab or anywhere within 100 feet of the vehicle.
"Truckers have long been looking for an affordable and simple way to solve the problems associated with overweight loads," said Mike Maloney, vice president of marketing for TruckWeight.com. "TruckWeight helps them meet these challenges by eliminating costs, and putting money back into their pockets. Not only does TruckWeight help them eliminate overweight fines and out-of-route miles, it also helps them ensure they get paid for every bit of cargo they pick up. It takes the guesswork right out of the equation, and provides something that every trucker is looking for on the road – peace of mind."
