Wingfoot Opens Truck Care Center in Texas
Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems opened a new Wingfoot Truck Care Center location in Baytown, Texas

The 10,300-square-foot facility is the 38th location in the Wingfoot Truck Care Center chain. It is located along Interstate 10, a major east-to-west shipping corridor, at exit 789.
The center sells Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly truck tires, plus retreaded tires. It also provides trucking fleets with oil changes and other preventive maintenance services; light mechanical services, such as brake, electrical and heating/air conditioning repair; and 24/7 roadside assistance to get trucks back on the road quickly.
"The Baytown outlet has three service bays, each dedicated to a different type of service," said Clint Schrock, director of on-highway operations. "One bay is primarily used for tire replacement and tire-related services, another is dedicated to light mechanical work, and the third has a full-length oil change pit and serves as an express lube bay."
Interstate 10 is a high-priority location for Wingfoot Truck Care Centers, according to Schrock. "It is the southernmost east-to-west, coast-to-coast Interstate in the United States, stretching from Florida to California. Our customers have asked us to be on that corridor so we can provide them with the tires and services they need to keep their trucks rolling. We will continue to expand across the U.S., making our products, services and solutions available in more locations."
Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
