Wilson offers multiple capacity solutions through its agent, brokerage, and freight network while operating more than 1,000 company-owned trucks. It has chosen EKA Omni-TMS, a “cloud-based freight integration ecosystem platform,” as its next-gen logistics and private marketplace solution.

The idea behind EKA Omni-TMS is an affordable, cloud-based software platform that allows brokers, carriers, and shippers to manage their entire business from beginning to end – from easily assigning and tracking loads all the way through to back-end billing and financial functions.

Wilson Logistics is rolling out EKA's Enterprise Broker TMS and Private Marketplace Platform. As part of the Private Marketplace, some of Wilson's dedicated carrier agents will be testing and proving EKA's soon-to-be-announced Carrier TMS.

EKA’s Omni-TMS serves as the system of record across multiple applications and seamlessly ties into other freight solutions, such as other transportation management software, driver apps, etc. This makes for a single digital end-to-end hub, according to the company, for a seamlessly unified, consistent, efficient experience across all freight management systems for a customer's entire business with trusted entities.

"With increased pressure to provide superior customer service and the shipper's need for real-time seamless integration and freight visibility, EKA's innovative software tools provide us with increased flexibility to manage all our freight businesses more dynamically and, significantly improve operations and business risk management,” said Darrel Wilson, owner and CEO of Wilson Logistics, in a release, noting that EKA and Wilson Logistics are both “focused on enabling transformation of logistics and private marketplace business for rapid growth.”

Wilson Logistics is based in Springfield, Missouri, with terminals and operations in Missouri, Texas, Montana, Washington, Oregon, and California.
