ExpressTrucking.com will bring back the renowned White Tiger Truck for display in the MATS Expedited Trucking Info Center 2005.
The White Tiger Truck, owned by Mark & Linda Yates, founders of the ExpressTrucking.com Network, is a one of a kind expedite truck introduced in 1997. "When we decided to no longer display the White Tiger Truck at our exhibits, I never imagined that so many people would ask where it was and if we would ever display it again," said Linda Yates. "It's evident that the White Tiger Truck has become our signature and it will always remain an icon for ExpressTrucking.com. Based on the overwhelming public interest we are delighted to bring the White Tiger Truck back for our 2005 exhibits."
Aside from the hand-painted tiger mural and overall exterior design, what makes the 39-foot White Tiger Truck so captivating, is the 12-foot custom sleeper equipped with a shower, washer/dryer combo and a storage area for the couple's motorcycle.
After spending many years researching the expediting business and educating themselves on truck specs, the Yates came up with a unique design and innovative approach to making expedited trucking safer, more profitable and more comfortable for how they planned to run their business. They began expediting in August of 1997 and immediately the public became attracted to this unusual yet appealing truck.
Anywhere the Yates traveled in the White Tiger Truck people would ask them how to get started in the business, how to spec a truck and what are the pros and cons of expedited trucking. All the public inquiry eventually lead to the development of the ExpressTrucking.com Network to provide credible and accurate information about the expedite business.
One hundred White Tiger Truck postcards will be distributed free on a first-come, first-served basis to attendees visiting Booth #6889 at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky., March 31 - April 2.
