Truckers are gearing up for the 33rd Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree, July 12-13, celebrating America's drivers. The two-day event, taking place at Iowa 80 Truckstop, I-80 Exit 284, Walcott, Iowa, will include an antique truck display, a Super Truck Beauty Contest, more than 175 exhibits, an Iowa pork chop cookout,

carnival games, live country music, trucker olympics and fireworks.

This year, BP Products North America Inc. has partnered with Iowa 80 Truckstop for the Team USA Experience, which gives Jamboree attendees the opportunity to step into the shoes of Team USA Olympic hopefuls.

The exhibit provides the opportunity for those attending the Walcott Truckers Jamboree to participate in simulated Olympic and Paralympic sports, including a 10-meter sprint, wheelchair race, shot-put and discus. Attendees can also learn about the benefits of BP gasoline with Invigorate. The free event will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on July 12 and again from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on July 13.

Also at the event, CAT Scale will award the grand prize in its Weigh To Win sweepstakes. The lucky winner has already been notified and will be on hand July 13 to receive the 2012 Ford F250 4x4 Crew Cab pickup.
