Western Nevada Kenworth opened a 20,000-square-foot, full-service dealership in Sparks, Nev.
The new full-service operation is located on 5 acres at 8640 Canyon River Dr., just off Exit 23 on Interstate 80, about 3 miles east of Sparks.
The dealership features 10 service bays, with one bay dedicated to providing Kenworth PremierCare express services, a 5,000-square-foot parts department and a body building facility to sell, install and service truck-mounted equipment. The new location also offers parts delivery service and a comfortable drivers' lounge.
"Our transmission overhaul and truck-mounted equipment installation operation, Worthen Equipment, has been in business in Reno area since 1984," says Rick Worthen, dealer principal and general manager of Western Nevada Kenworth. "By opening a Kenworth dealership at this same location, we can offer our customers more complete solutions to their transportation needs with new Kenworth models, the Paccar MX engine and Kenworth PremierCare parts and service support. This location also fills a 420-mile gap between Elko, Nevada and Sacramento, Calif."
