Weigh-Tronix Inc., Fairmont, Minn., has introduced Truck Weigh, a scale management software application that automatically captures information on any truck and load that passes over a compatible truck scale.

The software runs in Windows on a PC.
Truck Weigh displays and records vehicle tare and net weights, associates vehicles with specific loads and customers, prints tickets to document transactions and saves information in databases that can be sorted and printed for operational analysis. Reporting formats include details and summaries by vehicle, product or customer. A transaction table is automatically generated during weighing to document each load recording in/out weights, stored tare of recorded vehicle IDs or manual tare entry to override stored tare data for a given vehicle.
Security limits access to authorized personnel. Log-in names and passwords ensure the accuracy and integrity of data. Sections of the program, including individual menu items, can be "locked-out" as desired for each user. Software plug-ins provide additional features.
Truck Weigh is a standard feature on all new Weigh-Tronix truck scale and indicator packages and is available as an aftermarket add-on application for existing compatible truck scales.
"At $800, Truck Weigh is priced as much as 80% less than many complex management software packages and delivers the essential features to manage, analyze and improve operational efficiency in one easy-to-use product," said Peggy Trimble, sales and marketing officer.
