WebTech Wireless Inc., Burnaby, B.C., Canada, has appointed Daniel Byrne to the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer.

WebTech provides wireless mobile communications and fleet management technology.
Byrne was CFO for Statpower Technologies and before that vice president of finance for Merfin International, a TSX company. He was also the vice president of finance for Sonigistix Inc., which developed industry-leading technology for flat panel speakers.
