”Identifying and Taking Action Against Counterfeiting and Other IPR Violations at AAPEX,” a free webinar presented by the AASA Brand Protection Council, will be held Monday, Oct. 17

The webinar, which runs from 2 to 3 p.m. EST, prepares participants for the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) Show, Nov. 1 through 4, 2005, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.
Participants will learn:
How to do your homework before the show
What constitutes a violation
What to look for at another exhibit
What to bring to the show (e.g. patents, copyright registrations, etc.)
Tips on how to approach possible violators
How and when to get show management involved
Actions taken by show management
Consequences to IPR violators
Q &A session at the end of the webinar
One of AAPEX’s attorneys, Marc Fleischaker, a partner with the law firm Arent Fox, will lead the discussion.
