Layover.com has launched a free web-based e-mail service called LayoverMail.

When signing up for an email account, users are given an option of what email address they want. They may choose from one of the following: “myname@truckdrivermail.com,” “myname@truckingmail.com” or “myname@truckersmail.com.” After registering for a free e-mail address, users can start using their e-mail accounts over the web immediately. Users can access their e-mail from any computer or platform via the World Wide Web. All the user needs is a web browser and an Internet connection, with no software or plug-ins needed. This makes access to their “LayoverMail” account available through home computers, laptops and Internet kiosks, as well as computers in truckstops and libraries.
