Nominations are being sought for the 7th Annual Professional Recognition Awards which honor leadership in the used truck industry. The recognition goes to those who demonstrate superior sales, business and management skills, contribute to the credibility of their profession and are involved in the community in which they work and live.

The annual awards are jointly sponsored by Truck Sales & Leasing magazine (a Newport Communications publication) and the Truck Blue Book used truck value guide.
Awards are presented in three categories:
* Used truck sales professional of the year.
* Independent used truck dealer of the year.
* Franchise used truck dealer of the year.
Presentation of the awards will be made at a special ceremony to be held during this year's Truck Blue Book Used Truck Seminar, June 9-11, in Pittsburgh, PA, at the Pittsburgh Radisson Greentree Hotel.
The seminar will be the 16th annual gathering of companies, organizations and individuals involved in the used truck industry.
