Wallwork Kenworth has opened a state-of-the-art dealership in Bismarck, N.D., expanding its operations with a new facility that offers better accessibility and enhanced support.
The new Wallwork Kenworth-Bismarck dealership is on a 5.5-acre site less than a half-mile east off of Exit 161 on Interstate 94.
"Our new location offers immediate access for trucks operating on the heavily-traveled east-west U.S. Interstate 94 route between Minneapolis and Billings," said Dave Silbernagel, branch manager for Wallwork Kenworth-Bismarck, which has an affiliate location in Fargo, 190 miles to the east.
The dealership's new 39,000-square-foot facility is more than three times the size of the building at its previous Bismarck location. "It includes 1,600 square feet for parts display, and 7,900 square feet of warehouse space to keep a well-supplied stock of parts for customers," said Leo Silbernagel, the dealership's parts manager. "We also offer parts delivery into Bismarck and the outlying areas with three parts routes."
The 14,000-square-foot service department has 14 service bays with a wash bay and two bays dedicated to Kenworth PremierCare Express Lube and AC preventive maintenance services to help get trucks back on the road quickly. The facility also includes the city's only dynamometer, enabling customers to save fuel, time and driver expense, while experiencing the latest in engine technology diagnostics.
"The service department is equipped with the latest innovative tools, including a front-end alignment machine, to provide customers additional peace of mind in getting their trucks in optimum operating condition," said Mike Zinke, the dealership's service manager. "We also offer mobile support for customers who choose to let us send our truck and technician to their shop."
"With our long service department hours, fleets and owner-operators can get their trucks serviced while they are working on other projects or at home relaxing, which is particularly important to truckers and fleet operators who desire to maximize their time," added Dave Silbernagel.
Wallwork Kenworth - Bismarck is located at 4020 East Divide Avenue and especially serves companies in the over-the-road, delivery, agricultural, and construction industries. The dealership is open from 7:30 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday and from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
