The 2002 Walcott Truckers Jamboree will be held Thursday and Friday, July 12-13, at the Iowa 80 Truckstop, Walcott, Iowa.
"The Jamboree is our way of saying thank you to all of the men and women in trucking that keep us and America in business, says Jack Horan, Iowa 80 Truckstop General Manager.
The event will feature live country bands, including local favorites - Keep'n Tyme (formerly Big D's) and Dani Lynn Howe and Band (featuring Danielle Howe co-host of the WLLR morning show). Guests can also enjoy delicious Iowa pork chops, more than 180 exhibits, carnival games, Trucker Olympics, Truckers's Best Friend Pet Contest, Antique Truck Display, the Super Truck Beauty Contest.
