The 2013 Walcott Truckers Jamboree will have a third day added this year and will be held Thursday, July 11 through Saturday, July 13 at the Iowa 80 Truckstop in Walcott, Iowa.
"We've had a lot of requests from drivers to continue the event on Saturday and decided 2013 was the year to do it," says Heather DeBaillie, marketing manager.
Everyone is welcome to join in the celebration. There will be live country music, an Iowa pork chop cook-out, exhibits, carnival games, an antique truck display, the Super Truck Beauty Contest, Trucker Olympics, and a fireworks display.
The event will take place rain or shine. As always, admission and parking are free.
