Volvo Trucks North America recently named its U.S. and Canadian dealers of the year, and recognized other dealers for their performance in truck, parts and Volvo engine sales.

Chicago Truck Sales & Service Inc., of Alsip, Ill., was named U.S. Dealer of the Year, while Pacific Coast Heavy Truck Group, Surrey, BC, was named Canadian Dealer of the Year.
The awards honor each dealership’s entire organization and its employees for overall accomplishment and performance. These dealers were selected based on a number of factors, including new truck sales, parts sales, financial performance, and customer satisfaction scores. The dealer’s performance under the Symbols of Excellence program also was a factor in Dealer of the Year selection. Symbols of Excellence evaluates dealers in all areas of operations: facilities, marketing and management, truck sales, parts and service, leasing, and best dealership practices.
Truck Enterprises Hagerstown Inc., Hagerstown, Md., won recognition in two categories – New Truck Sales and Volvo Power Sales. TEC Equipment, Sparks, Nev., was the Used Truck Dealer of the Year. In each category, these awards were based on performance versus business plan, as well as sales volume.
Chicago Truck Sales & Service was also named North American Parts Dealer of the Year. In addition, Volvo also named Regional Parts Dealers of the Year for each of its four U.S. sales regions and Canada, based on parts sales, customer service and training:
o Bruckner Truck Sales, Inc., Amarillo, Texas
o Chicago Truck Sales & Service, Inc., Alsip, Ill.
o Gabrielli Truck Sales of Connecticut, LLC, Hartford, Conn.
o Worldwide Equipment, Chattanooga, Tenn.
o Nortux Inc., Edmonton, AB, Canada
