Petro Stopping Centers announced the completion of a major construction on the Petro:Lube Truck Service Center
Virginia Petro Boasts New Lube Spot
Petro Stopping Centers announced the completion of a major construction on the Petro:Lube Truck Service Cente

at their Ruther Glen, Va. location.
The six-week project added an additional service bay to the facility that will become a dedicated mechanical repair bay. The location also has two bays dedicated to tire sales and service and two bays for preventative maintenance work.
"Our mechanical repair business has grown quite significantly over the past three years," said Bernie Runk, general manager of the Ruther Glen Petro. "We really needed the additional space to provide our customers with the fast and reliable service they are used to."
The expansion will also permit the addition of wheel alignments to the broad range of services they already provide to over the road trucks. "We are very pleased to be able to add the wheel alignment service," said Tony Barringer, manager of the Petro:Lube for the past four years. "It's a service that was requested by many of our customers and we just did not have space for the necessary equipment before the expansion. Now we have excellent equipment and trained technicians, so I hope the word spreads quickly that we are offering wheel alignment services."
The Ruther Glen Petro is operated by Highway Service Ventures, a Petro franchisee based out of Ashland, Va. Highway Service Ventures also operates three other Petro franchises located in Maryland, Georgia and South Carolina. They are Petro's largest franchisee.
