Family-owned refrigerated fleet Van Wyk Inc., Sheldon, Iowa, recently selected TruckMate for Windows from Maddocks Systems.

Operated by the Van Wyk family since 1958, Van Wyk Inc. has grown to a fleet of over 135 power units specializing in hauling refrigerated freight.
"We were very impressed with the high regard offered by existing Maddocks customers, both for the software and the level of support from Maddocks," said Dave Van Wyk, president and CEO. "That's not something you hear often from carriers about their software supplier."
Choosing a flexible software solution that would benefit Van Wyk in the long term was another major consideration when selecting TM4Win.
"We thought that a Windows-based product with as much power and integration as Maddocks would provide a better platform for the future than the other options out there," explained Van Wyk.
The fleet uses @Track mobile communications, and Maddocks' integration with the system was another factor in favor of the software.
In addition to their corporate headquarters in Sheldon, Iowa, Van Wyk Inc. operates a satellite location in Waynesboro, Va., and a brokerage division in Fairmont, Minn.
