Located in Grand Rapids, Mich., Hudsonville Trailer has acquired Great Lakes Utility Trailer Sales, Inc. in consolidating efforts to better serve western Michigan with semi-trailer sales, service, parts, and leasing.
"For many years, it has been my desire to acquire Great Lakes Utility and obtain the premium Utility product line," said Mark Gazan, President of Hudsonville Trailer. "The merger combines two good companies to represent Utility products and provides a new stronger organization capable of doing much more for our customers' benefit."
Hudsonville Trailer has been servicing the trucking industry in western Michigan since 1948. Today, the facility is situated on 19 acres encompassing a 42,400 square feet building with 17 service bays, a 10,000-square-foot parts warehouse, and a 7,500-square-foot office. Additionally through the acquisition, it now enables Hudsonville Trailer to be open 24 hours a day 5-days a week by operating 3 shifts in the service department.
"We recognized the value of the Utility brand for our company and we anticipate significant sales growth and increased market share that will benefit both of our firms through this new partnership agreement," said Gazan. "Our customers' responses have been overwhelmingly positive of the merger and they have expressed excitement to be able to purchase new Utility trailers from Hudsonville Trailer."
Hudsonville Trailer is located at 3308 Hudson Trails Drive near Interstate 196 in Hudsonville, Michigan. To find out more about Utility Trailer Manufacturing and over 100 of their other dealer locations, visit www.utilitytrailer.com
