The Used Truck Assn. will hold its 5th annual Convention Nov. 3-6 at the Scottsdale Radisson Resort and Spa, Scottsdale, Ariz.
This year's convention, "Information, Knowledge & Networking Equals POWER," will bring together used truck industry leaders in a forum conducive to networking with peers and an agenda that will arm attendees with the most current industry analysis and information," said Eddie Walker, UTA president and Best Used Truck founder.
The group said the convention would address several key topics, including the economy, marketing strategies, high mileage equipment and effective management.
Vince Lombardi Jr., author, business leader and motivator is the keynote speaker. He will demonstrate how his philosophy, "high performance people, what do they do and how do they do it is a process we don't want to leave to chance," can enhance attendees' business and personal lives."
Other presenters include Chris Brady, Commercial Vehicle Consulting, who will present on the state of the industry and give an economic forecast.
Commercial vehicle manufacturers along with industry vendors and component suppliers will present on new technology and programs benefiting the used truck marketplace.
Programs of the convention include the 2nd Annual Putting for Scholars charity golf tournament, presentation of the UTA Lifetime Achievement Award, think tank roundtables, panel discussions and the end of year awards dinner.
