The University of the Aftermarket, in cooperation with the Aftermarket Financial Symposium, will present a pre-aftermarket seminar entitled “Using Balanced Scorecards to Fuel Business Strategy and Deliver Results."

This fast-paced, three-hour overview seminar will be held before the start of the symposium on Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. The workshop will focus on defining the balanced scorecard, illustrate how organizations are successfully deploying scorecards and help participants consider ways in which this approach can become a vital tool within their organizations.
The "Balanced Scorecard" approach provides a clear prescription as to what auto parts distributors and manufacturers should measure in order to "balance" the financial perspective. This system enables automotive aftermarket companies to clarify their organization's vision, purpose and strategy for improved financial performance.
Dr. Robert Kaplan and Dr. David Norton at the Harvard Business School developed “Balanced Scorecard.” Harvard Business Review has hailed "Balanced Scorecard" as having one of the greatest impacts of any business idea in the past 75 years.
"The Aftermarket Financial Symposium: Leveraging for Growth" will be held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Chicago on Wednesday, Sept. 7, and Thursday, Sept. 8.
