The University of the Aftermarket is recruiting for its next Leadership 2.0 class, an intensive post-graduate style leadership and business skills education experience designed to promote the development of the next generation of aftermarket leaders.

The first session of the two-week class will take place Sept. 9-14, 2012, on the Northwood University campus in Midland, Mich. The second session will take place April 14-19, 2013, at Northwood's West Palm Beach, Fla., campus. Participants must attend both sessions.

In addition to the two-week-long classroom segments (which feature lectures, roundtable discussions, networking sessions and team research and problem-solving activities) participants work off-site to develop and present team research projects covering key industry issues. Featured presenters include leading aftermarket executives and faculty members of Northwood University DeVos Graduate School of Management. Class size is limited to 35.

The program is designed for early- to mid-career, management-track, high-potential aftermarket professionals in all market segments. Program participants include a mix of aftermarket professionals from manufacturing, jobbers, program groups, warehouses, service dealers, associations and other industry segments allied to the motor vehicle aftermarket.

"Having suppliers, distributors, service professionals and other critical industry segments in the same room, discussing some of the major issues of our industry, is one of the key components of Leadership 2.0," says University of the Aftermarket Director Brian Cruickshank. "Indeed, the participants learn as much from each other as they do from our faculty."

The cost of the two-week program is $6,100 and includes tuition, class materials, meals and lodging. Participants receive 7 CEUs toward their Automotive Aftermarket Professional or Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional designations.

More information and registration details are available at www.universityoftheaftermarket.com.
