Nebraska-based Bosselman Companies has entered into a license agreement with Knoxville, Tenn.-based Pilot Travel Centers LLC, signaling the intent to use the Pilot Travel Centers brand at two Bosselman Travel Centers
effective Feb. 1, 2005. The two locations that will carry the Pilot marks are:
* Bosselman Travel Center, I-80 and exit 300, Wood River, Neb.
* Bosselman Travel Center, I-80 and exit 142, Altoona, Iowa
This move brings all six Bosselman Travel Centers into the Pilot network, which now includes 260 travel centers in 38 states as well as 12 licensed locations, giving Pilot Travel Centers representation in 40 states.
Like the other Bosselman centers in the Pilot marketing network, these two locations will still be owned, operated, managed and branded Bosselman but also will carry the Pilot marketing brand, which allows Pilot customers to enjoy all of the benefits of the Pilot
network at any of the six Bosselman Travel Centers.
The other Bosselman Travel Centers, which carry the Pilot marks:
* Bosselman Travel Center, I-80 and exit 312, Grand Island, Neb.
* Bosselman Travel Center, I-80 and exit 257, Elm Creek, Neb.
* Bosselman Travel Center, I-80 and exit 107, Big Springs, Neb.
* Bosselman Travel Center, I-70 and exit 252, Salina, Kan.
Finalization of the rebranding agreement will allow Bosselman to compete for nationwide fleet gallons in the highly competitive travel center industry and will have all of its locations under the Pilot umbrella. Bosselman will continue to focus resources on this project and to their other businesses including Fuel Systems Inc., Bosselman Tank and Trailer, Bosselman Energy, Bosselman Carriers, wholesale operations and their 39 Pump & Pantry Convenience Stores.
