, according to a report released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics Friday. In September, a total of 1,257,700 people were employed in the trucking industry.

"I've seen this spirit all across the country. At the Department of Labor, we are working tirelessly to ensure that we fulfill our responsibility to provide these workers with the assistance they need today."
