The 9th annual Trucking for Kids Convoy, featuring race cars, motorcycles, show cars and trucks, takes place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 1, at Scarborough Downs in South Portland, Maine.
Start the day with a Pancake & Sausage Breakfast at 7 a.m., followed by a barbecue and a full day of family fun.
There will be a driving skills competition, truck show judging, a convoy starting at noon and an awards and trophy ceremony.
Donations and registration for the convoy begins at 8 a.m. Trucking for Kids is raising money for Camp Sunshine, a retreat for critically ill children and their families.
