TruckersB2B, the web-based truckers’ buying cooperative, has announced an agreement with Comdata to market Comdata's Answer Plus telephone services.
Drivers in member fleets will be able to make long-distance phone calls at competitive rates with the same Comdata Comchek fuel cards card they use to purchase fuel and manage cash.
According to TruckersB2B, the agreement will be available to drivers of more than 320,000 tractors in more than 9,000 member fleets.
"We think TruckersB2B members will find added value in their memberships through Comdata Answer Plus phone services," said Frank Adelman, Executive Vice President, Comdata Transportation Services.
A subsidiary of Ceridian Corp., Comdata of Brentwood, Tenn., provides transaction and information services, including Comchek credit and debit processing and reporting for commercial fleets and merchants.
TruckersB2B is a business unit of Celadon Group, owners of the truckload carrier, headquartered in Indianapolis.
