
A truck driver who threatened a federal safety inspector was sentenced on Oct. 13 in U.S. District Court, Lincoln, Neb., to 9 months of incarceration as well as 40 hours community service and 12 months of supervised release for threatening a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration safety inspector.
According to the Dept. of Transportation’s Office of Inspector General, on Jan. 10 of this year, commercial truck driver Ronald Mockelman made threatening telephone calls to FMCSA's Nebraska Division offices.
