The dates will remain the same, Aug. 18-22, 2009.
New in 2009 is the addition of a National Step Van Driving Championships, which will be held at the same time and place as the NTDC. The NSVDC competition will be open to all commercial motor vehicle and step van drivers (CDL and Non-CDL) employed by (or contracted exclusively to) a motor carrier, and who meet most of the same eligibility qualifications as NTDC competitors in terms of safe driving record, job status (number and percentage of hours worked (performing the regular duties of a truck or step van driver), length of employment, etc.
