Affiliated Computer Services Inc., announced that its TripPak OVERNIGHT express mail service, developed in conjunction with DHL, has been named product of the year by Truckstop Travel Plaza News
, a trade publication to the North American truck stop and travel center market.
In August of 2003, ACS, through its wholly owned subsidiary TripPak Services, in cooperation with DHL launched the first next-day delivery product for professional truck drivers. TripPak OVERNIGHT delivers economical and convenient express mail services, sold over-the-counter at more than 950 participating truckstops nationwide.
Customers purchase a TripPak OVERNIGHT envelope, fill out the label and drop it in a TripPak EXPRESS drop box, conveniently located in more than 1,500 truckstops, distribution centers and fleet terminals across the United States. DHL picks up the shipments at these collection sites nationwide where they are routed through the DHL network and final delivery is performed. TripPak OVERNIGHT shipments can be easily tracked just like any other DHL shipment, and are guaranteed by noon the next day to most locations within the continental U.S.
TripPak OVERNIGHT envelopes can be purchased at most major truck stops, ordered on the web at www.trippak.com, or by phone at 800-298-7202 x 1313.
