Mobile solutions provider XATA Corp., Minneapolis, Minn., announced that Tree of Life Inc. of St. Augustine, Fla., has purchased XATA?s complete OpCenter solution,
including fleet management applications, GPS and touch-screen driver displays. Tree of Life distributes specialty foods from 13 North American locations with a fleet of 350 trucks.
According to XATA, implementation is underway and is expected to be complete by the first quarter of 2003.
XATA products combine enterprise software, onboard computing, real-time communications and global positioning to provide enterprise-wide logistics management solution North America private fleets. XATA products are in approximately 30,000 vehicles at over 700 customer locations.
