Extending the northwestern reaches of its network, TravelCenters of America (TA) announced the acquisition of an existing facility in North Bend, Wash., just east of Seattle.

Located on I-90 and Exit 34, the full-service travel center is open to professional drivers and other highway travelers in the Seattle area.
TA Seattle East offers clean restrooms, diesel fuel and gasoline, a full-service restaurant and convenience store and game room. For professional truck drivers, TA has a three-bay truck shop offering truck repair and maintenance services, a drivers’ lounge, a CAT scale and 160 truck parking spaces. Other TA amenities and services, including RoadKing Club, will be added in the near future.
Headquartered in Westlake, Ohio, TravelCenters of America is among the largest networks of full-service travel centers in the nation. TA employs more than 10,000 people at 153 facilities in the United States and Canada. About 60 people are employed at the Seattle East site.
