TransCore introduced its operations-management software and hardware package for brokers, Keypoint for Brokers, during the Transportation Intermediaries Association 24th Annual Convention this week.
Keypoint for Brokers lets users track shipments and equipment, manage their customer data and have instant access to TransCore's DAT Services' load and truck network.
The new product complements TransCore's freight-exchange and freight-matching services, and TransCore says unlike traditional broker software management solutions, Keypoint for brokers is affordable for smaller customers. Both the software and the server on which to run it are included in the subscription price, enabling companies to manage their own data in their own office environment.
Entries made in TransCore's Keypoint for Brokers can be uploaded to the DAT Services freight-matching and freight-exchange networks.
