TransCore's Commercial Services Group has announced a new version of DAT Partners 3.5, its freight-matching product.
DAT Partners 3.5 is a real-time freight and capacity management tool providing fleets and brokers instant access to more than 3 million loads per month and a 450,000-truck network.
The system has a number of new features designed to provide faster access to vital information about a potential business partner before a freight decision is made. DAT Partners is a PC-based software application combining the speed and convenience of a desktop application with real-time interfaces to Web-based tools.
"Fleets today are dealing with rising costs and thinner operating ratios," said Joel McGinley, TransCore Commercial Services Group senior vice president. "Anything they do to secure good-paying freight in the right lanes, goes straight to improving their bottom line. At the same time, truck capacity has tightened and brokers need to do all they can to find reliable carriers to haul available freight. With DAT Partners, our customers have access to the most load and truck listings in the marketplace and integrated decision support tools enabling them to make business partner decisions with confidence."
DAT Partners enhancements include a new customer directory, better navigational tools for the Web page and desktop application, and a more seamless mileage, routing, and fuel tax application. The new customer directory provides one-click access to background information on companies while searching for a load or truck.
TransCore's Commercial Services Group is headquartered in Beaverton, Ore., a suburb of Portland, and is part of TransCore, a transportation services company. For more information, visit www.transcore.com.
