TransCore has added two new features to its Web-enabled DAT Partners freight-matching software.
Using the new Rate Index feature, customers can access rate information for more than 4 million point-to-point lanes in the United States. By entering the origin, destination and vehicle type (van, reefer or flatbed), customers receive a range of rates quoted by select carriers, enabling the small- to mid-sized customers who use DAT Partners to make more competitive business and pricing decisions.
With SaferSys, a tool powered by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, customers can easily verify a carrier's operating authority, insurance information, inspection history and safety ratings.
TransCore's DAT Partners is designed specifically to meet the freight-matching needs of small to mid-sized carriers and brokers. Together with TransCore's TruckersEdge and its DATConnect.com, which are designed for smaller carriers and brokers, TransCore's DAT Partners provides access to a network of more than 18,000 member companies, 200,000 daily loads and trucks and 80,000 daily Internet sessions.
