Trans-Soft Launches Web-based Application
Trans-Soft Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz., announced it has developed a powerful new Web-based software package called TS2000Net for freight forwarding and logistics operations

The new application complements the company’s TS2000 Plus core software and enables a freight forwarder’s customers to track their outbound shipments online.
Trans-Soft’s shipment, tracking and administrative solutions come in software modules that integrate critical shipment data, which can be accessed from any computer connected to the Internet.
“TS2000Net is a unique and secure Web interface application tailored to the specific logistics needs of each freight forwarder and 3PL’s customers. We currently have several customers using this Web application,” said Tran-Soft President David Hockersmith.
The new software program is available in three separate modules; the Shipping Tracking module is required. Freight forwarders can purchase additional modules that fit their unique business needs.
-- The TS2000Net Shipment Tracking Module enables users’ customers to track their shipments without even knowing the tracking number since the data stored in list form can be located by an online search.
-- The TS2000Net Billing Module enables users’ customers to track shipment costs and stay current with their billings.
-- The TS2000Net Shipment Entry Module enables users’ customers to create shipment and print documentation directly from their web site.
Modules can be purchased or leased and come with full maintenance and support updates. Trans-Soft recommends running this application on its own dedicated web server with a minimum of 1.0 GHz processor, or at least 512 MB of RAM, and no less than 10 GB of hard drive space.
